The Virtual Learning Environment (Canvas) includes Microsoft Immersive Reader on most pages, such as course pages, assignments and discussion posts.
Immersive Reader provides tools to make reading easier and more accessible, including:
- adjusting font style and size
- changing background colours
- line focus
- text-to-speech (screen reading)
- breaking words into syllables
- translation into other languages.
