Being absent for a few days won’t be a problem, as long as you do as much as you can before you go and catch up on anything you’ve missed when you return.

If your course has a tutor, please tell your tutor and your group members when you are away, and when you will be available again. Please speak to your tutor about any study adjustments you may require.

Live sessions are a great opportunity for discussion and to interact with your peers and tutors, so we would highly recommend that you attend them if possible. If you are not able to attend, you can watch a recording of the session after the event. The recording will be available on Canvas.

Please be aware that not every course on our learning environment includes live sessions; this depends on the specific course structure.
